After several years
of marketing for other companies, Rex Burch decided to launch ADvantageous
Design in January of 2009.

Rex received a Bachelors of Arts in Communications Marketing in 2002
with a Business Management minor equivanent and graduated in the top
15% from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
While at BYU, he
worked as a freelance website developer and did a little graphic design
as well for a couple of Utah companies. I also worked in the television
industry for KBYU-TV as a production assistant. During his internship
at TKO Advertising, he wrote radio and TV commercials for clients such
as Far West Bank and Roberts Crafts.
He was the president
of the Ad Club and was instrumental in the promotions campaign of Mars/M&M
during the SLC Winter 2002 Olympics. Also during the AAF's National
Students Advertising Competition his team placed first at Districts
and tenth at Nationals with their campaign for Bank of America - Investment
Services.
After graduation,
he took a job at a small ad agency here in Idaho Falls called Rev2 Corporation
for 3 ½ years. Originally hired as an Account Executive, we also took
on the position of Media Buyer before leaving the company. While you
may not heard of Rev2, you probably knew some of their clients like
the Museum of Idaho, MPCU, Community Care, the Idaho Falls Symphony,
and others.
Rex then went to
work as a Marketing Specialist for Bingham Memorial Hospital in Blackfoot
for a little over 3 years. There he provided creative
concepts, copywriting, layout & design, public relations, and more.
He helped launch new marketing campaigns for Bingham Memorial Hospital
and its affialites like the Idaho Pain Group, First choice Urgent Care,
Idaho Doctors' Hospital. Before being laid off from the company in 2009,
Rex became the Creative Services Manager.
Rex is a member
of the Alpha Delta Sigma Honorary Society (AAF). He has served as the
Promotions Chair for the Cancer Resource Center of Idaho Falls during
2009.
He currently serves
as the Idaho Public Affairs Director for Employer Support of the Guard
& Reserve. In addition, he also serves as the Marketing Chair at For
The Animals, Inc.
